Rain Radio return with brand new single ‘Lighters Up’
Rain Radio have arrived back on the scene, armed with their brand new floor-filler ‘Lighters Up’, set for release on 17th February. Sampling Lil’ Kim, the gritty dance track delivers pulsating beats and an unwavering energy, as Rain Radio cleverly put a fresh spin on a nostalgic classic. The release follows their 2022 Nicole Scherzinger sample ‘He Goes Down’, which saw sees Rain Radio tap into a raw, vocal-driven club with a vibrant slap house bassline. 2022 also saw the release of ‘079’ featuring Block Notice, a club smash that has racked up over 10 million Spotify streams.
Rain Radio remains an unknown collective of producers and DJs with no explanation behind their output. The mysterious music-making entity burst onto the scene in 2021 with ‘Talk About’, a viral smash with Irish breakout talent DJ Craig Gorman that peaked at #9 in the UK ‘Top 20’, and has also racked up over 100 million Spotify streams.
Showing no signs of stopping, the anonymous Rain Radio have started the year strong.
